"Yes, turn your head to the left, exhale, centre, inhale"she often would repeat on the inhaling and exhaling after the poses.
"Breathe through your nose. The air would get to your organs, deep into your organs"she emphasized that without the breathing, everything is lost.
"inhale...yoga is not about only moving your body, but it has to include the flow of your breath.exhale... "she's different. many teachers are hasty to let their students stand on their heads, flip their backs or do some body twisting.
perhaps, to many modern folks, breathing is only a functional act. how we inhale. from where we inhale. how our lungs expand. how we huff or puff out the air. do we have to be so conscious of these actions? we can do it without bringing our thoughts to it, can't we? breathing is an automatic act. it's too simple. after all,we have been doing it all these while... since the day we were born.
should we continue our assumptions?
or we could be more aware of our breath and thus our body?
maybe, it's time to unlearned something that we had long-learn.
